My client is a leading media agency with that offer the full spectrum of communications planning as well as media planning and buying both on and offline. Account Manager - The Role
The Account Manager position will require working with key organisations at varying levels of seniority within many different countrries - across marketing, sales and PR - as well as managing the external agency relationships and overseeing the planning and implementation of the team's advertising campaigns. Working in a busy team, the portfolio of the clients products is split evenly - constantly looking to push boundaries in terms of communications planning whilst putting the target audience at the heart of everything they do. Being responsible for contributing to planning and project management, as well as plpanning decks for presention to heads of EMEA marketing, creation and presentation advertising decks to campaign leaders & maintenance and presentation of advertising campaign workbooks.
You will be responsible for developing and establishing new relationships with the client and agency partnership, finding ways to integrate and work closer together. You will also be responsible for the delivery of a number of advertising campaigns, from conception to execution, in a range of media, including digital campaigns. This role would also see the Account Manager working closely with teams in Chicago. 2017 will prove to have a massive focus on developing new strategies for media that encompass social media, large scape partnerships, content development and lead generation.
Account Manager - Key Skills:
- Experience in managing, nurturing and developing junior members of the team
- Demonstrate media planning and buying experience across a wider range of channels (although predominately in digital)
- Be able to build key relationships with media partners and drive strong negotiations
- Strong client management and networking skills
- Be proactive with bringing new ideas and solutions to the team and to the account
