Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Due to continued expansion, a prestigious IFA Practice is looking for a Paraplanner to join their organisation and assist in dealing with increasing levels of demand.
You will be responsible for assisting IFA's with technical and administrative duties for a range of products and provide specialist support for investments and pension clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the administration team you are required to answer incoming calls, emails or written correspondence either satisfying their enquiry or redirecting them appropriately.
To liaise with clients and advisers ensuring business transactions are being processed smoothly and are in-line with all Practice, Provider and Openwork procedures.
To process and manage ad hoc administration. Offer suggestions on how processes and controls can be improved as and when appropriate to help improve practice profitability.
At all times client satisfaction should be at the forefront of you mind ensuring our clients experience exceptional client service. In certain situations it may be necessary for you to attend client meetings to support an adviser.
Produce compliant and detailed Client Suitability Reports.
Assist in the management of client relationships including attendance at client meetings (if required), receiving client phone calls and providing information of a technical nature if requested.
Produce all relevant paperwork and regulatory requirements for the Advisers to present potential solutions to clients.
Ensure that all queries relating to quality issues raised by the Network or the providers are dealt with in a professional and timely manner - engaging with the adviser as and when necessary.
Qualified or working towards level 4 diploma is an advantage
Previous experience within an IFA practice and Paraplanning is essential
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
FCA understanding of regulations and products, and their practical application
