Business Development Manager - Payroll & HR Software Services

Field based role - can be based in any location

£40,000 - £45,000 + OTE

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager - Payroll & HR Software Services to join our client's Employer Services department.

About the role

You will be responsible for generating new revenue through the sales of the company's ESL Payroll and HR Software Services.

Key duties of the Business Development Manager - Payroll & HR Software Services

* Create Payroll BD plan within company framework
* Proactively research, generate new opportunities, cold call and close new clients for the ESL Payroll and HR software services to achieve personal monthly sales target
* Conduct online demonstrations and face to face meetings as required
* Liaise with appropriate teams to formulate proposals to meet prospect clients' needs
* Support the Business Development Team's client activities and tasks
* Maintain a working knowledge of all ESL product offerings, in particular Payroll and HR services, software solutions and outsourcing services

You will additionally carry out administrative duties such as:

* Effectively and accurately record opportunities on the Sales CRM system
* Ensure documents are filed correctly (paper & electronic)
* Ensure compliance is adhered to in areas such as contracts, letters of engagement and money laundering checks
* To provide and maintain, on an ongoing basis, a record of activities, figures, forecasting and any other records which may be required in order to keep up-to date records of sales and performance

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has strong sales/field management skills and has experience in utilising and selling. Experience in payroll software would be extremely advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, an understanding of Payroll and HR processes, legislation and market trends is essential.

You will possess strong presentation and networking skills, with the ability to communicate to all levels of personnel. Additionally, you will be organised and be able to prioritise work to meet strict deadlines.
