Working closely with one other Administration Assistant the role will consist of day to day admin and support to household and motor Account Handling team.

General duties will include:

  • Opening, scanning and franking post
  • Taking and processing credit card payments
  • Writing to clients by letter and email
  • Issuing endorsements and processing renewals
  • Debiting and resolving accounts queries
  • Discussing terms and negotiating with insurers
  • Creating client fact finds and helping with broking
  • New business checks and sanction checks
  • Completing spreadsheets with data and stats
  • Ordering stationery
  • Maintaining stock levels of policy wordings and key facts
  • Setting up clients on Sector
  • Maintaining a diary and assisting with the team diary
  • Chasing for payments and documentation
  • Updating and maintaining the Motor Insurance Database
  • Preparing specifications
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Issuing cover notes for Motor
  • Producing Motor schedules and certificates for new clients and changes of cars
  • Upkeep of monthly Motor bordereau
  • Sourcing travel quotes and producing schedule for Affinity travel schemes
  • Producing schedules for Personal Accident schemes
  • Project work as required

Hours 9 - 5 Monday - Friday

Who are we looking for?

Candidates with 1 years + experience gained in general insurance broking or customer services
