Business Growth Telephone Sales & Support Advisor - Spider. The region’s Fixed Fee Web Recruitment Company are pleased to be supporting an Ipswich based organisation with the search for a Business Growth Telephone Sales and Support Advisor.

They are looking for a knowledgeable and personable telephone sales and support advisor to join their respected team that provides economic, business and employment growth across Norfolk and Suffolk via grant funding and other products and services.

As the main contact for initial telephone enquiries and after-care support, you will be a confident communicator over the phone with the ability to engage with and promote services to a wide business audience. With previous telephone sales and service experience, you will be proactive in your approach to raising awareness of specialist services to support growth including business grants.

Experience in quickly assessing eligibility requirements and customer needs is desirable, along with the ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of business customers face to face, on the phone and via email.

As business growth support advisor, you will provide support to local businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk, mainly over the phone but sometimes via email or face to face. As the lead for making initial business enquiries, you will be assessing business needs, giving information on relevant services to support business growth, arranging appointments and providing after-care to businesses that have already engaged with us.

You will help to identify local businesses who may be eligible for business grants, and engage with them to raise awareness of funding and support that may be available to them. You will also ensure all of your enquiries are managed effectively by accurately inputting information into a database and extracting information where necessary.

With an eye for detail, you will ensure all information is recorded accurately, making sure that each enquiry is given accurate and relevant information.

Computer literate, you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages as well as experience of working with databases, and be able to provide general administrative support.

You will be able to work with minimum supervision and with a high degree of self-motivation, as well as being able to work toward shared objectives. With good people skills, you will be confident in communicating via telephone, in person and by written correspondence.

You must also have an appropriate SFEDI or other relevant professional qualification or willingness to work towards achieving this.

This post is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Initially for a fixed term ending on the 31st August 2018 and only continuing subject to an extension of funding.
