Senior Bridging Underwriter - Up to £65,000


£35,000 - £65,000 plus annual bonus

A fantastic opportunity has risen for a Bridging Underwriter with a well-established and organised company located in Central London specialising in residential property in the UK.

We are looking for friendly, passionate and career driven Bridging Underwriter that wants to take the next step and work for a dynamic company that is in the process of expansion and have a great opportunity for the right person.

Your new company:

Your new company is a Bridging lender that focuses on customer service, bespoke lending packages and a traditional Bridging and lending experience. Your new company focuses on lending on a case by case basis, focusing on key factors including the asset, your equity and the exit strategy.

You will be working directly under the head of lending who most recently managed the companies short term lending fund of leading members of the London stock exchange.

This is a little scope of the organisations capabilities in a whole and this opportunity is one not to be missed.

Please see below some of the key responsibilities required for the role:

  • To have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in Bridging Underwriting.
  • To professionally assess all loan applications from introducers, brokers and direct clients
  • minimise the risk to the business and the applicant, focusing on fraud avoidance
  • To provide brokers and clients with accurate case updates at all points in the process
  • To ensure that all regulatory requirements are adhered to throughout the process
  • To thoroughly assess the risk of the application confirming that the loan is affordable
  • Affective problem solving ability with the confidence to suggest amendments to policies or processes
  • The ability to work to deadlines and working under pressure.
  • Confident to work with all third parties and brokers
