Accounts Payable Team Leader
Cherry Professional are recruiting for an expanding business, based in Alfreton, who are seeking to employ an Accounts Payable Team Leader on a permanent basis.
This role presents a brilliant opportunity to work in a well-established team for an exciting business who have grown through acquisition in the recent years.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Purchase Ledger Team Leader will be responsible for managing a range of supplier accounts, improving the accounts payable processes and supervising a team of purchase ledger specialists.
Managing the full accounts payable function, including invoice processing, forecasting cash flow, query resolution and other related functions
Overseeing workflow, meeting set deadlines and targets
Attending management meetings
Creating and implementing new procedures with the view to improve the AP function
Managing and supporting a team of Purchase Ledger Clerks
Previous experience managing over an accounts payable function
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent organisation skills and have the ability to meet deadlines
Strong experience of process improvement and staff management
