An exciting opportunity has arisen at a client secondary school for a Newly Qualified Mathematics Teacher. The position is starting next September and is with an exciting, supportive and progressive school in Solihull.

At my client’s School they believe there is something for everyone in maths and pupils have many options available at A-level. The department is an innovative, well qualified department that prides itself in providing the best care possible for their students. The school has excellent ICT facilities and all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards. Pupils at the school are well mannered, well behaved and enjoy their time at the school. The school boasts a warm and friendly atmosphere which contributes in making it a fantastic establishment to teach in.

The school believe that all students have the ability to develop in mathematics and are currently exploring barriers to learning mathematics that may hinder this development. Always looking for ways to improve the department is working towards developing a more functional approach to the subject.

The Head Teacher wishes to appoint a strong Newly Qualified Maths Teacher to join their forward thinking and progressive Maths department. Ideally you will have received either a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ grade on your final professional placement. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well planned lesson across Key stage 3, 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will be capable of demonstrating a strong proven track record of ‘Good’ or better teaching combined with a sound knowledge of the UK curriculum.
