A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a top performing business based in Leeds. Based in the city Centre, this role is perfect for commuters with or without their own transport.

My client, a niche Legal firm based in Leeds, is currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the team. Typical duties and responsibilities will be, but not exhaustive to:

- Audio Typing using Big Hand - Letters, (Non) Legal Correspondence, Memos etc
- Diary Management for the Fee Earning Team
- Booking transport and accommodation on an ad-hoc basis
- Client Liaison in the absence of a designated Fee Earner/ Solicitor
- Generalist Admin duties: Scanning, filing, record maintenance

The ideal candidate will be able to display the following:

- Experience within a professional services business as a Secretary - preferably from the Legal Sector
- Knowledge of Private Client legislation is desired, but not essential
- Experience with BigHand Digital Dictation
- 65-70 wpm typing speed
- Good all round administrative skills
- Professional manner and demeanour
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a dedicated team

A competitive salary of £16-19k is available (DOE) as is a pension scheme and private medical insurance (after 3 months probation).
