Partnership/Business Development Manager Opportunity - North London
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This role involves the support and guidance of Partners in developing their knowledge, advice processes, business skills and their Practices in line with Corporate, TCF and FCA guidelines. Its aim is to encourage Partners to adopt appropriate strategy, operational activity and best practice leading to business growth and longevity against targets. They must also ensure the achievement of their key objectives, eg growing the business via Partner productivity. The job holder is expected to conduct regular reviews of the Partners’ business throughout the year and to provide any relevant development and coaching required whilst. They also need to remain close to sources of new joiners and, where necessary, provide introductions of potential recruits to the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS JOB
Encourages and aids Partners in developing the infrastructure of their business so that they maximise the security and productivity of the business and achieve their sales targets in a fully compliant manner.
Expedites problem solving and management issues so that Partners resolve problems and generate more revenue whilst observing compliance regulations.
Manages the Financing arrangements and requirements of the Partners in relation to the Company, ensuring company policy is always followed.
Works in collaboration with other members of the FMT to seamlessly support the Partner / our client's business relationship.
Reviews with the Partner the progress of their business against plan, makes use of MI to supportively challenge areas where there is concern, risk or lost opportunity and coaches them towards workable solutions. Demonstrates resilience with Partners who resist or are unable to cope with change towards improved business practice.
Reviews Partner’s training and development requirements and works closely with them to meet these needs.
Communicates regularly with Partners and makes recommendations so ensuring that they keep abreast of developments and opportunities to aid business growth.
Networks with key influencers at Head Office and in the field to aid the Partners in progressing business opportunities and resolution of problems.
