The Role

We are looking to recruit a Sales Lead Generator/Sourcing Expert to fill a newly created position within an exciting market-leading software and services business, providing environmental regulatory compliance solutions. You will be playing a key role in working with different people within the organisation to help maximise new business opportunities.

Based in our Rugby offices, you will be joining a friendly team and be responsible for all aspects of sales prospect lead generation. The role will suit someone with an IT or Market Research background.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Researching global companies to build the CRM database of contacts
  • Making outbound calls to companies, to establish the relevant contacts for the Sales Team
  • Following-up on established leads, to collate the correct information in the Lorax CRM
  • Scheduling Appointments for the Sales Team
  • Achieving performance targets

Skills and Experience

It is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Great customer service skills and experience
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and other similar sites
  • Solid skills in using data-mining to analyse data and extract information
  • High level of MS Office competence
  • Familiarity with using CRM systems
  • Confident Internet search skills
  • Experience of working around 'gatekeepers' to target decision makers
  • Ability to analyse and improve on-line marketing results
  • Excellent reporting skills with a proactive approach
  • Strong communication and literacy skills
  • An aptitude for building and, more importantly, maintaining a strategic and relevant pipeline of sales prospects
