On behalf of our Client, a well established contact centre organisation with offices in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, we are currently seeking to engage an enthusiastic and capable Communications Manager. The company is growing consistently and this role will enable the successful candidate to carve out a niche within the business and make a measurable difference to the way in which it operates.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking to recruit an internal communications manager. The purpose of this role is to play a key part in determining the company profile and brand image and then to present it to the staff within the business.

Creating key corporate messages and delivering to the employees through various mediums will be the main focus of the role. The company is essentially a "blank canvass" with its corporate message currently being delivered through their team of highly effective team leaders, Our client has identified a need to improve the internal presentation of their centre, to create more cohesive and insightful documentation and to ensure that consistent in intelligent material, both digital and physical, is being produced and distributed.

The outcome of this role should be that improvements are made in staff retention, training and morale. The output of the Communications Manager should aid in creating a professional and corporate atmosphere within the building and make sure that the companies brand, vision and goals are clearly and effectively communicated to all employees.

You will be tasked with working autonomously, Our client does not currently have a marketing or communications team within which this role will sit and, as such, you will need to have the motivation and focus to develop your own strategies and goals. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have to interpret the aims and objectives of the business and clearly illustrate them to their stakeholders.

The Candidate:

It isEssential that you:

Have a demonstrable track record either professional or educational in marketing and/or communications

That you have the ability to interpret information first hand and present it in a commercial and professional manner

Have the confidence to work independently

Also, it’s not essential but would be desired if you:

Have a working knowledge of digital design programmes (Adobe etc)

Have previous experience within a call centre or sales-floor focussed business
