£25,000 - £35,000 Basic (OTE up to £50,000 in first year)

The company produces premium content on multimedia platforms and events for a global audience of C-Suite executives and professional groups in the UK & Europe

Our client is seeking a confident and highly motivated Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager (depending on experience), to sell cross platform media and marketing solutions to key corporate markets and add to our growing number of blue chip clients. For the successful candidate, there is genuine potential for career progression within the business as it grows and develops its service offering.

The Sales Manager Role:

This is an opportunity for someone with a proven sales track record in B2B media who wants a rewarding sales role and likes the idea of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business.

Working alongside the management team based in the London office, the candidate will sell media across digital and print platforms as well as sponsorship, awards and round tables.

Your role will be to drive new business and develop client relationships. You will generate sales by telephone, face-to-face meetings as well as attend events. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be essential as will self-motivation, enthusiasm and a goal orientated outlook. To be considered for this role you will need to have had experience of nurturing business from key stakeholders in client firms and have had experience of selling to media agencies.

Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:

+ Sell digital and print display advertising by phone and client meetings
+ Sell sponsorship of whitepapers, reports and roundtables
+ Develop & understand the marketing needs of clients to provide media and marketing solutions.
+ Write effective sales proposals and presentations
+ Maintain accurate sales database, business pipelines and meeting status reports
+ Develop positive relationships with stakeholders within key clients & agencies
+ Build and maintain client/agency contact database

Profile: The successful candidate will have:

+ Articulate and persuasive communication skills
+ Enthusiasm and be goal orientated
+ Be a self-starter with an excellent work ethic
+ Excellent academic background
+ Proven B2B advertising sales or equivalent client experience
+ Working knowledge of marketing & communications
+ Working experience of latest ad formats.
+ Strong sales track record & revenue growth
+ Experience of interacting with senior corporate directors
+ Formal sales training would be ideal.
+ Understanding of the client / media agency planning process
+ Working knowledge of marketing & communications
+ Experience of using sales database platforms
+ Well organized with good administration skills

We can offer a basic salary of £25k-£35k per year DOE + commission + 5 weeks’ holiday. If you are successful, you will quickly earn in excess, of £50,000 per year.
