Your new role
Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this is a new position which will have full responsibility for the payroll function.
You will be responsible for running five payrolls within the group, setting up new payroll systems, managing the company pension scheme, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date, efficient inputting of SSP, SMP, SPP, tax and NI, ensuring payroll adheres to legal compliance, implementing procedures for holidays, absence and sickness and handling and resolving payroll queries.
You will also be responsible for year end reporting and extracting and manipulating HR and payroll based data for the HR Manager and management team.
What you'll need to succeed
Recent and relevant experience within payroll management is essential as well as proven experience of overseeing a full payroll function from beginning to end.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills are essential as well as experience of working to tight deadlines.
