This if a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join us at our head office in Manchester to support our Marketing function.
We are looking for fully qualified (CIMA or ACA) finance professional with a numerical background. Within the role you will support the Commercial Finance Manager to provide clear and effective commercial finance partnering to our Marketing division, as well as develop the Finance function brand across the organisation.
The right candidate will have the chance to make a difference in improving the bottom line of the business. You will have the chance to get involved in creating multi-million pound business cases to drive efficiencies and lower costs across Marketing and you will gain exposure to the Marketing Leadership Team including our Chief Customer Officer.
As the Commercial Finance Analyst your duties will include:
Being responsible for financial reporting and forecasting, providing quality financial analysis, insightful commentaries to the business and support to the Commercial Finance Manager.
Specific responsibility for production of monthly management accounts for the Marketing division and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Supporting the Manager by championing change management; driving improvements to financial accountability across the divisions and improving and standardising financial processes to improve overall efficiency; identifying and contributing to business improvement opportunities.
To be a successful Commercial Finance Analyst you will have the followling skills and experiecne:
Must be fully qualified (CIMA or ACA).
Strong numerical skills.
Delivery focussed with an energetic, flexible and personable attitude with a proven ability to adapt your approach to liaise with various levels of stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure to achieve challenging deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Experience in a fast paced, commercial environment. You should be naturally analytical with strong MS Excel skills.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Financial systems is highly desirable but not essential.
A passion for delivering first class service and a positive attitude towards business change.
