Our client has recently reached a prestigious status of global partners with the Panasonic brand providing a broad range o digital solutions for their international stakeholders.

As they have been growing at an ever increasing rate they are now looking to bring on an Online Support Executive to join their already impressive team of Developers, Testers, Digital Designers and Content Editors. This opportunity will allow you to work with international clients in countries such as Germany, the United States, and Japan!

The Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the online manager you will engage to help create, maintain, manage and optimise Panasonic's many website and their users.

Below are just some of the tasks your typical day will be filled with:

  • Answer day-to-day system enquiries and requests.
  • Maintain and build new pages on Panasonic’s intranet.
  • Maintain lists of system users and access levels.
  • Compile and present regular consolidated reports to show web activity.
  • SEO reporting, including SERPS analysis by country, technical checks, top keywords by business division, reporting on keywords country by country, advising on copywriting.
  • Train new users on digital systems (Easy Redmine, Google Analytics).
  • Work with Panasonic’s consumer division and Web Operations Centre to maintain links between B2B and consumer sites.
  • Ensure B2B guidelines for online assets are compliant with Panasonic’s corporate identity.

Required Skills

Technical must-haves…

  • Good working knowledge of content management systems, ideally Drupal.
  • Experience of online applications such as Google Adwords, Analytics and Webmaster tools
  • SEO knowledge.
  • Ability to use email and internet applications, and Mac OS-X operating system.

General must-haves…

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience of and an interest in digital marketing trends.
  • A strong grasp of social media and its commercial applications.


  • A real team player, but comfortable working alone when required.
  • Open, flexible and supportive - always happy to adapt to change and innovation.
  • A stickler for detail.
  • Brilliant when it comes to working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Hardworking and flexible with a willingness to work outside 'normal’ working hours when required. (This isn’t a regular thing, never fear, but it can happen every so often.)

Although it isn't essential, foreign language skills and experience of working with teams over multiple sites and countries would also stand you in great stead. As would some involvement in the delivery of training.
