Aurora Resourcing are working in partnership with a local authority inSwindonto recruit a Team Manager for the Children’s Locality Team. We are seeking either a Team Manager with extensive statutory work experience or an Assistant Team Manager looking to advance up to a Team Manager position.

With the change in legislation in April now would be a great time for any locum managers to look for a permanent opportunity if you feel it is right also.

You’ll be an experienced social care manager; motivated, an excellent communicator, data competent, experienced in quality improvement and budget management keen to develop your career. You will be expected to provide accurate, timely monitoring and activity reports on service delivery. In return this forward thinking, developing council offer a compelling career opportunity with scope to shape service delivery working alongside health and other practitioners to provide a wide range of high quality resources to support children and their families.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and ensuring high quality service provision for children and families, providing leadership to operational teams. Leading three or four teams you will determine priorities, assess needs and safeguard children to promote positive outcomes in line with national standards.

The Candidate

  • Must have management experience within a Children’s Team
  • Up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation
  • Possess strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Hold current HCPC registration

Salary and Relocation

The salary is between £45,000 - £52,000 depending on experience with additional fantastic benefits. The Authority can help if you are relocating covering costs up to £8,000.
