My fantastic client based on the outskirts of Stroud are a leading holiday specialist and are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their small and friendly team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be experienced within Payroll, Purchase Ledger and VAT returns along with general accounts duties.
-Processing of Purchase/Sales Invoices
-Allocation of Customer payments
-Bank Account Reconciliations
-Cash Flow Forecasting
-International Currency Payments
-Preparation of Accounts to Trial Balance
-Processing monthly payroll along with pension administration
-Must be AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
-Previous accounts experience is essential
-Use of Sage Line 50
-Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multi task
-Good communication skills - written English is particularly important, plus confidence to talk to clients on the phone
-A team player with a positive attitude
Hours-Monday to Friday- 9am-5.30pm
Salary- £22,000 + Annual Bonus
