Job Setting
My client s a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Their services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. My client has been part of the local community for almost thirty years and provides vital service to patients and families all over our community. Last year, over 1,200 people used their services, which included the in-patient unit, a day hospice service which runs weekly sessions to help patients manage symptoms and give carer respite and a Hospice at Home team which provides 24 hour short term nursing care for patients in the final stages of illness in their own home. The aim is to ensure that on the journey towards the end of life, they provide the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

My client requires a dedicated Staff Nurse to work within a OUTSTANDING CQC hospice in Lancaster, Lancashire. My client provides end of life/palliative care services to the elderly. You will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach.

You will be putting together treatment plans and overseeing a team of support workers. The successful Staff Nurse will have excellent clinical leadership skills.
My client offers ongoing training, and has excellent development opportunities for the right candidate.
