The offer:-

£35K to £40K Basic Salary + Commission of £10K-£15K per annum based on performance

Contributory Pension

Key Duties:-

To win new business and develop long term relationships with customers for the business

To actively communicate with prospect customers in the public and private sectors to generate new business leads

To respond to referrals provided by the company with speed and purpose to gain advantage of competitors

Developing current accounts and increasing sales with existing customers

To constantly identifiy and follow up on new opportunities for the business

The company has been established for 65 years and its chosen field and is recognised as one of the largest and also most respected operators in the sector. Specialising in bicycle shelters, bus shelters, train shelters and all associated metal furniture they are active in every sector of the market place. They have a particular interest in developing their presence in the Architecture and Specifier marketplace. They are a solutions organisation able to provide turnkey operations from design to specification through to manufacture, installation and maintenance.

With a great ``pull together`` culture the business has a real team ethic with all members of staff consulted and communicated with thoughout the process. This ensures that their search for and recruitment of a new business development manager is driven by the need for someone that understands that working together is very important even though the role is autonimous in many ways. You will work the London and South region but attend monthly meetings at the companies head office in Staffordshire to feed them with the new leads and opportunities you are developing. You will be accustomed to attending trade shows and happy to go the extra mile in terms of working hours to attend them to ensure that every potential opportunity is explored.
