Enterprise Ireland is a government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. It works in partnership with Irish companies to help them grow and innovate and win export sales and ultimately through this supports sustainable economic growth, regional development and job creation. It has a network of international offices and this key position is within their London office. The Market Adviser role has broad ranging and interesting characteristics and is focused on proactively working with and advising Irish construction companies to achieve their sales and marketing objectives in the UK marketplace, with a strong focus on developing business in the infrastructure, energy and transport marketplaces. As Market Adviser you will be involved in market analysis, identifying business opportunities through connections and research and work within a framework of targeted KPI’S. The role covers a broad range of construction activity including civil engineering, design, contracting, surveying and the building products supply chain. You will form part of a team and develop relationships with Irish construction companies in order to facilitate and help them to promote their business growth in the UK. This Market Adviser role is a three year fixed term contract offering broad scope and very real career development potential in the sector going forward. 

Graduate qualified you will have developed your career with one or more of the industry majors, Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors and your track record should also have been developed in one or more of the following channels - marketing, business development, commercial management or project management. You will be on an upward curve in your career, have strong research, networking and consultancy skills, be a first-class communicator and comfortable presenting detailed market intelligence. 

As the UK is the largest UK export market for Irish owned companies with nearly 40% of all their exports going into this market, the potential in the Market Adviser role is significant.
