Webmaster - Contract (4-5 Months)

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Webmaster to join a Web Technology team with an international based media organisation. Based in Chiswick, London, your primary role is to assist Technologies team management in designing, developing, streamlining and maintaining web pages.

Your day to day responsibilities will be;
*Assist Marketing in designing, developing, streamlining and maintaining web pages.
*Create new web pages and update existing web pages as necessary
*Provide quality control for web pages
*Track development progress on all current projects
*Establish/maintain a project plan down to tasks level.
*Utilize document storage, versioning, and retrieval in relation to website design files and web pages using content management system (CMS), Drupal experience preferred.
*Set standards for design, look and feel in conjunction with Marketing Communications
*Assess new web technologies to determine fit for our needs
*Perform browser compatibility assessments & testing
*Gather web metrics and report on trends
*Work with IT staff on issues of hardware/software affecting websites
*Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, trade marking, company policies, and website security

To be considered for this roll you will have at least a minimum of 2 years' experience in a web master role, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including documenting solution requirements and design. A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology), strong knowledge of marketing, sales, & development processes, ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior Marketing members and solid business acumen, management, and marketing communication skills.

Out of hours work will be expected due to working closely with North American and European Web Technologies team management.
