Assistant Project Accountant
As the Assistant Project Accountant, you will assist the processing, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of project accounting for agencies within AHC Group Ltd. The role will report to the Director of Finance and will play a key role in helping agencies to achieve operational efficiency in the new project accounting/finance system. You will work closely with Project Accountant and agencies by performing the following duties:·Create billing and revenue recognition contracts in Oracle·Assist with purchase order processing·Assist with sales invoice processing and aged debtors·Process external freelancer timesheets within Oracle·Support ad hoc requests from agencies and finance colleagues·Produce various monthly reports·Cost and time transfers·Project closure including reconciliation·Monthly freelance forecast and accrual·Assist with project accounting month end close·Produce monthly productivity reports for senior management·Support ad hoc requests from line manager and colleaguesWho is the ideal candidate?
You will be highly organised and self-motivated, able to integrate quickly into the established team. You will need to use your own initiative to prioritise your work load whilst working accurately and quickly to meet strict deadlines. You will have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A good working knowledge of Excel and computer skills are a must. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or have an equivalent level of experience in a finance role.
