The role (Can be based out of Manchester of Leeds)

Following recent development and implementation of a brand new strategic business model they are looking to appoint a number of senior procurement leaders. Corporate Services manages contacts with an annual value in excess of £500m per annum. Candidates will be expected to either have a corporate services background or covered broad general Indirects portfolio of spend.

You will be :

- Managing the lifecycle of large complex contracts (existing and new)
- Commercial management of suppliers (effective SRM)
- Continuous development of the category strategies
- Support/Guide/challenge senior stakeholders to achieve "best outcome" commercial solutions are being presented
- Take a leading role in the leadership team and have a number of direct reports

Skills / experience / knowledge:

- Substantial Commercial leadership experience gained within a Management role complex function within a large, matrix organisation
- Previously managed a team/team leader organisation leading on the development, review, negotiation and execution of large, complex contracts, and overseeing all commercial aspects of supplier performance
- Able to influence key stakeholders towards Commercial solutions that give a balance of optimal commercial performance whilst delivering on business strategy
- Commercial management of strategic suppliers, building positive relationships that address stakeholder strategies and ensure a culture of effective performance management
