Senior Support Engineer (1st & 2nd Line Helpdesk) (AD, Active Directory, Server, Support, 2nd Line, Mac, Apple, VoIP, Win, Windows, SAN, VMware, Exchange, Citrix) - Permanent - Gatwick

First Recruitment Services are currently looking for a Senior Support Engineer on a permanent basis for our European wide, well known and growing business.

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum D.O.E
Location: Gatwick

This Senior Support Engineer will be responsible for technical 2nd line support both face to face and remotely, interfacing current systems with exciting new technologies which are to be implemented and also getting involved in external projects.

Skills/Requirements for the 2nd Line Support Engineer:
* Previous experience in a similar role working on both 1st and 2nd Line
* Strong Active Directory and Windows Server skills
* Microsoft Exchange experience
* Experience of both telephone and desk side support
* Knowledge of supporting software, hardware and equipment

Desirable Skills:
* 3-5 IT support experience
* Knowledge of both Servers and Routers and Client troubleshooting
* Networking experience using DNS, DHCP or TCP/IP
