We are looking for a Knowledge Transfer Manager to work with the Head of Quality, Information and Learning to develop and manage these new information services and learning programmes for the Home-Start network.

Home-Start is a federated network of local organisations which provide community based support for families and children. Over the past four decades Home-Start has supported over a million children and has become one of the leading family support charities across the UK.

Home-Start UK is committed to bringing new information, practice sharing and knowledge exchange to the Home-Start network. To develop this in an innovative way we are building a new team of knowledge transfer and information management experts who are passionate about making a positive difference to families' lives, are focussed on customer service and knowledgeable about the sector.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of reference and information work with the ability to produce and disseminate reports and information using a range of platforms relating to key voluntary topics.

Excellent communication skills are vital for this role, together with a passion for developing new systems to support the transfer of knowledge. Up to date knowledge in the advances in technology and social media, together with excellent organisational skills and the ability to develop and deliver information and wider training to a variety of audiences will be required.

The post holder will also manage a portfolio of learning opportunities for our network by developing courses and leading training sessions as well as managing the design, production and distribution of publications and resources.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a related subject and an accredited library or information qualification and/or a training qualification.
