Your new company
An established Engineering company with both workshop and on site presence require Fabricator/Welders to join their team on a permanent basis. This company work in a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Food and Drink, Defence, Agricultural and Steel, among others. With a strong order book and planned growth, they have permanent jobs available for the right committed candidates.
Your new role
You will be a skilled fabricator/welder with experience in a workshop environment. You will initially work on a temporary basis, hourly rate through Hays, until you and your potential employer are sure that you are committed to becoming a permanent member of the team. You will then transfer onto the books and become a direct PAYE employee. You will work on various projects leading in to the above mentioned sectors.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a skilled fabricator/welder looking for long term employment in the Perth area. This is a long established business and many of the employees have been with them for many years, so you must be able to integrate well with the existing team.
What you'll get in return
In return, all going well, you will gain a permanent job out of this placement. It is up to you to prove your capability in the role. Initially, you will be paid through Hays on an hourly rate, which can be discussed. The standard working hours are 0800 - 1630, and overtime is paid at time and a half. They have recently been working nightshift to keep ahead of deadlines, for which rates will be discussed.
