Lead Digital Analyst
£35,000-£40,000
Birmingham

One of the UKs leading energy providers are growing their digital analytics capabilities, and are recruiting for a new Lead Digital Analyst to join the team. The analytics function within the digital team has a wide remit, owning analytics and optimisation across the UK platforms as well as acting as an internal support function for the marketing and product teams. You will deliver reports and insight into e-commerce performance and combine this with information from offline channels to create a holistic view of customer behaviour. You will work closely with the product team to deliver end to end optimisation programs, from using analytics to select test hypotheses to recommending changes after successful A/B and multi-variate tests.

THE ROLE

As Lead Digital Analyst, you will use hands-on expertise of web analytics tools to own reporting, responding to ad-hoc requests for information and analysis. You will simultaneously be responsible for ensuring that as many CRO tests are running on the site to maximise the opportunity to improve online performance. This role has a clear commercial focus, therefore you should be extremely comfortable delivering insights to senior stakeholders and be prepared to influence decision making where possible.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong digital analytics experience, a track record using Webtrends, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Proven experience delivering analytical insight to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using analytics to have a commercial impact on the wider business.
  • Direct experience leading digital optimisation programs, A/B and multi-variate testing from design - delivery
  • Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline (mathematics, statistics, economics)
