JOB TITLE: Membership Services Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: £20-25k DOE

WORKING HOURS: Full time, Mon-Fri, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a Trade Association representing a large part of the Agricultural supply industry and is based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
THE ROLE: Membership Services Manager, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
To provide a high level of service to its Members who pay subscriptions on a voluntary basis. Responsibilities include the development of key Member contacts which includes some visits, progressing the outcomes from the Member Survey and development and maintenance of an accurate Membership and Stakeholder database. In addition, assisting with event management; the timely invoicing and collection of subscription payments; the development and maintenance of the Twitter feed, as well development of the Members’ area of the company website supported by the company’s Web Manager.

THE CANDIDATE; Membership Services Manager, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated person with a confident friendly personality who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service to my clients’ Membership.  Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous as would experience gained from the Agricultural Industry. This is a diverse and busy role and perfect for an individual with a keen eye for detail and the drive to add value. Membership experience and database knowledge (CRM system) is a distinct advantage.

Key Experience preferred for the role: - Membership Services Manager, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
  • Experience in a Similar role from a customer service/ Administrative background essential
  • Experience of “Membership Services” management i.e. dealing with subscriptions & renewals highly desirable
  • Competent financial skills
  •  Database knowledge / experience essential
  • Excellent IT skills –  Outlook and Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • An engaging manner with ability to build rapport with people.
  • Agriculture Industry knowledge or Trade Association / Supply Chain Industry knowledge highly desirable
  • A reliable, flexible approach to work
