Health Client Support (Including Senior Client Support) Salary £21,000 - £28,000 DOE + Pension + 22 days holiday plus excellent Benefits

Based: Cheltenham

Our client, a partner-led business which prides itself in providing straight forward and well communicated pension advice have a exciting opportunity for an ambitious, highly motivated Health Client Support Administrator to providing assistance to the Team Leader and Health Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining regular contact with clients by telephone, email and letter
  • Attending client meetings if required
  • Assisting the Team Leader and Health Consultant in the preparation of reports
  • Collating information for reports covering technical matters and advice
  • Checking of work prepared by others in the team
  • Member data analysis and Managing relationships between Insurers and clients
  • Checking Insurer's accounts and issuing annual financial statements to clients
  • Analysing information, assisting in preparing recommendations of appropriate client solutions
  • Administration relating to a wide and varying range of health and protection policies
  • Drafting specifications of services, deadlines and remuneration with clients
  • Delivering agreed services in accordance with agreed time schedules and budget
  • Preparing invoices for issuing to clients, checking WIP
  • Maintaining records in accordance with internal guidelines and procedures
  • Liaising with other professionals and keeping client files compliant
  • Answering relevant calls that come in from various Workplace Health and Wealth helplines
  • Keeping all Workplace Health databases up to date
  • Assist with the development and administration of Me2
  • Handling the administration and data which sits behind our client's flexible benefits (via our Me2 Wealth and Choices platform)

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 2:1 honours degree expected or obtained (equivalent qualifications are accepted) is desired alternatively part qualified Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or Pensions Management Institute (PMI) two years+ experience
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above is ideal
  • Previous group risk/employee benefit experience is required for this roleRelevant Financial Services or a background in DC or DB pension admin would be a benefit
  • Experience of working in an office within a team environment is beneficial
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office programmes, in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of numeracy is essential
  • Outstanding training and development opportunities as well as study resource & support
  • Good customer service skills and attention to detail with client requests
  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving skills, resolving issues before they develop
  • Good analytical skills and technical ability with passion to develop in this area
  • A strong interest in qualifying in Financial Planning exams to Certificate or Diploma level.
