To deliver a supporter thanking programme and the highest standards of customer care

Based at our head office in Aylesbury, Bucks
Part-time (21 hours per week)
Salary: £14,000 to £16,000 per annum (pro rata for 21 hours per week of £8,400 to £9,599 per annum), depending on experience

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma.

We are looking for a customer service professional to deliver the supporter thanking programme and help achieve the highest level of recognition for our donors and fundraisers.

Applicants will be warm and engaging and committed to developing long-term relationships with the charity’s supporters, most of whom have been directly affected by lymphoma. You will have experience in working in a customer facing administrative support role (helping to maintain customer loyalty), a strong eye for detail and creative writing ability to convey sensitively the impact of donations in thank you letters. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference for people coping with cancer and to start a career in the charity sector.

Staff receive excellent benefits such as flexible working, generous annual leave entitlement, enhanced entitlements to sick pay and maternity/paternity/adoption leave and pay, and access to a life assurance and permanent disability insurance scheme.
