Business Analyst - Product Management We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join this Fin Tech Company within product development. The role will require engagement with clients both internal and external to identify and accurately document business objectives and requirements as well as write BA Deliverables (including and not limited to: scoping, business requirements, use cases, features and software requirements) and ensure requirements map back to business objectives. This covers the entire project lifecycle; through to the client's acceptance into production. You will need at least 3 years experience in a relevant financial services / IT industry Business Analysis environment with the ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation. A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and a good understanding of Agil as well as experience in a previous Business Analyst role developing stock broking software Duties of the role will include - Liaise constantly with Project Team (Developer, Tester, Implementation, Documentation and Training) to ensure accurate mapping to business requirements, test coverage, implementation, documentation and training requirements are met. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality and user friendliness of system enhancement / development - Develop functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of system enhancement / development - Prepare material and provide training and assistance to end-users following implementation - Develop the appropriate product documentation for each change (functional summary, user guide, release notes etc) - Assist with the development of a demo environment and script development - Ensure all BA deliverables for the project are delivered within budget and as per schedule. - Track the software package including client delivery, support and migration into the product as a whole - Peer review other BA and Associate BA deliverables where appropriate - Proven adherence to internal procedures around system use (JIRA, Sharepoint, Confluence) - Active contribution to process improvement when program is underway
