Project Manager - Stockport

My client is a privately owned main contractor who operate on a regional basis, with offices located around the country. They have a North West regional office and operate within a c40 mile radius of their office location. The entire business currently enjoys a turnover of £200 million, operating within both the Civil Engineering and Build arenas.

The North West office was launched c12 months ago with an established team of Directors who have relocated from other regions. The business has had early success with Civil Engineering projects hitting site, however the focus has now shifted to developing a Build portfolio of schemes and opportunities.

The build side of the business will operate within most business sectors apart from Housing and will predominantly execute schemes under a Design and Build form of contract with projects ranging in value from £3 - £15 million.

You will work closely with the Regional Director in developing the Build Division and will assist in progressing tender opportunities from enquiries, through to the tendering process and subsequently securing and delivering schemes within the North West.

You will have sole operational responsibility for the Build Division and essentially grow and develop this in accordance to business plans and direction for the region. You will operate on a strategic basis and will be truly influential in regional growth.

Upon success this role will development into a senior management position and you have all Build employees reporting directly to you.

Project Manager

You will have strong working relationships in the North West and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring new clients / contacts / workload to the business in line with growth plans.
