IT Support Analyst

Paying £22,000 to £28,000

A highly reputable company in the Food and Beverages industry is currently recruiting for the role of Support Analyst to join their busy IT Helpdesk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line support for PCs, printers, peripherals and software applications used within the company.

Candidates need to have considerable experience in an operational IT environment and possess a sound knowledge of the following:

* PC/Hardware Troubleshooting
* Operating Systems: Windows XP/ 7
* MS Office 2010
* Exchange 2010
* Working knowledge of Active Directory
* Knowledge of DHCP, WINS, DNS
* Network Security Fundamentals
* Citrix
* Some experience of providing 3rd line Support
* Telecoms Support

* Self-starter who will work well with minimum supervision under pressure.
* Humour, commitment and a desire to ensure customer satisfaction.

* To appreciate the commercial and business implications of IT policy.
* To be able to prioritise according to business need.

Working hours will be based on a rota that covers Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5:30pm. Candidates should expect to work up to 37.5 hours over five days between Monday and Friday plus provide on call support one Weekend in four. A full driving licence is also essential.
