Responsibilities of the Compliance Officer will include: Arranging policies, standards, training and guidance relating to or connected with legal and regulatory compliance. Handling feedback from internal and external stakeholders and group Compliance Directors. Managing the groups systems and controls to assess their soundness and effectiveness at justifying risk to compliance with legal and regulatory duties and obligations. Creating reports on current and potential legal and regulatory duties and obligations. Monitoring legal and regulatory developments. Analysing actual and potential impacts on the Groups legal and regulatory duties and obligations. Explaining the impact on the group of legal and regulatory developments and associated risks. Successful Compliance Officer will have: Previous experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to create regulatory reports. ACII or relevant qualification is preferred Previous experience in general insurance. A legal, compliance or risk professional qualification. Previous experience within a legal and regulatory environment.
