A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a software development project manager to join a successful datamanagement organisation based in Liverpool!

If you have software development skills, and have the ability to deliver IT projects and manage a small team, this could be for you!

You will be required to provide full life cycle project support and implementation for software development projects liaising with customers, developers and wider internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

- Hands on coding in a variety of languages particularly .Net and JavaScript
- Designing, scheduling and execution of development, testing and infrastructure
- Monitoring source control procedures
- Develop documentation systems to manage existing and developing solutions
- Managing the development personnel

Skills/Experience Required:

- Ability to integrate with existing code base
- Highly proficient in .Net and Javascript
- Able to adapt to multiple languages/technologies
- Experience of working in a software development project environment, specifically in the preparation of project documentation, requirements and specification
- Solution-orientated with a dynamic and logical approach to fulfilling requirements
- Excellent communications ability and drive
- Able to interact with both technical and commercial elements of our business
- Demonstrable ability to take ownership and manage multiple projects of varying complexity to specific timelines
- A self-starter and team player with effective prioritisation skills

The ideal candidate will have experience of coordinating multiple streams of work with minimal supervision as well as having a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Knowledge of or an interest in geospatial concepts would be an advantage.
