Senior Technical Lead - Senior Architect

A highly recognised and AJ100 established practice based in central London oversee a compelling array of projects throughout London, excelling in high quality designs for high-end residential, commercial, and hotels & hospitality to name a few.

Our client hosts 20 years experience as a leading practice developing contemporary architecture and interior designs. With a very dynamic portfolio, they have delivered into high residential; luxury penthouse developments, commercial and work place designs, affordable housing frameworks, community projects, and a variety of mixed use. A key growth area for the business has been with hotels and hospitality where they have supported international developers with continued progression within the sector. Having designed their own expansion to the office, our client has an excellent platform to bring in an experienced Senior Technical Lead (Architect) as a Team Lead to help support on-going projects.

Role & Responsibilities
Technical experience is as important as having a temperament and management ethos for the role. The position will have a strong team coordination function, with less front end design work, but a very prominent involvement on the delivery of design concentrating on the latter stages of their package delivery. Project values range from quarter of million up to over ten million pounds, encompassing small, privately owned properties through to large, recognised names; projects worked in conjunction to a host of recognised architectural practices. These will include works on listed buildings through to high spec bespoke design. The Senior Technical Lead, having come from a Senior Architectural background will be accustomed to working with contractors and have an in-depth understanding of how the contractors and developers implement the designs. They must be able to troubleshoot with clients on any challenges
arise during construction whilst providing advise and support to architectural and design personnel within the practice, and client side. This individual must be able to demonstrate team lead and management experience as this will be a day-to-day requirement working as integral part of the management function.

Required Skills & Experience

- Must be proficient using Revit and AutoCAD
- Revit delivery up to BIM level 3 or 4 (desirable)
- At least 5 - 7 years minimum UK based project experience
- Extensive experience working on high-end residential and/or high-end hotel projects
- Reviewing detailed designs ensuring client specifications are achieved
- Verifying work of junior personnel and providing support when required
- Highly versatile across all RIBA stages of design and construction
- Being the client liaison, conducting presentations and meetings
- Excellent communication skills; English speaking and writing
- Confident and out-going individual, being able to adjust to varied work loads

Salary & Package;
Dependent on experience from £50,000 to £60,000 per year
