New job in Manchester for a chartered building surveyor offering an attractive package.

Your new company
You will be working for a first class international property and construction consultancy with over 3600 people operating from more than 100 offices. Their key services are building surveying, quantity surveying and project management. They work across a variety of sectors including education, health, offices, residential, hotels, leisure, public sector, retail etc. Due to the continued success and expansion of the business they are currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join the team in Manchester.


Your new role
This role presents an excellent opportunity for you to take responsibility for managing your own clients, workload and providing professional Building Surveying Services on a number of development, and asset management projects across a broad range of sectors, as well as advise, develop and support junior colleagues. Key duties include: Condition Surveys/ defect analysis / Measured Surveys. Contract Administration / Employers Agent / Small Works Project Management. Preparation of drawings, specifications, schedule of works etc. Managing the procurement of projects. Professional Services (i.e. Dilapidations Party Wall Fund Monitoring).

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have experience in: Experience in NHS / Custodial / Local Authority / Commercial / Education sector. You will be MRICS qualified, competent in Autocad, commercially aware, competent on word, excel, powerpoint etc. Ideally NBS spec writer experience, self motivated and flexible. You will have a driving licence.
