Sous Chef Award Winning Gastro Pub £22-24K & Tips
I'm looking for a sous chef for an independent gastro pub in Cheshire. The site is moderately busy and has an excellent reputation in the local area. The food has been recognised in both the Michelin and AA guide and the incoming chef should be of a pedigree were they can add to the already fantastic reputation
My client is looking for a chef that can take ownership of the kitchen; you will work closely with the owner to produce seasonal menus that will change every 3 months. All the usual expectations of a senior chef would be expected, HACCP & COSHH understanding, wage controls and stock management. This is very much a destination site and has a very loyal following in the community, the successful candidate would be expected to maintain this level and continue to build and help develop the kitchen
The package on offer for this role is a basic salary of up to £24'000 plus weekly tips. Successful chefs will have the chance to flex their creative muscles. There is no answering to an executive chef or operations team, the menu is designed and produced on site and everyone's input is welcomed.
