Valeco Recruitment are working with our client who are an established Scottish Business who, due to success and service they provide in their market are now expanding their sales division to recruit Sales Trainee’s to join them starting a new career adventure.

Before what the role will involve and requirements, what is our client offering for you?

  • 6-month training programme where you will be shadowing up to Director level in the office and out on the road
  • Learning how the whole company works together and understanding what your counterpart roles involve and the impact they have with your job role
  • Training from their suppliers including globally branded recognised companies
  • Commission from day 1: 50% share in any sales contributed during training
  • Commission after successful training: 20% on all profit once making your own individual sales
  • Basic salary of £18,000 and between month 4 - 6 this will rise to £20,000
  • Company Car/Car Allowance will become available between month 4 - 6 and fuel card
  • 23 day's holiday plus 8 public days with an extra 2 days after 2 year's service

The Role……….

Our client are Scotland’s largest independent supplier of market leading equipment and managed print services and have built up their reputation on providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail who tailor to each individual client’s needs.

Your role on joining this structured business will be up to 6 months training where you will be learning from the best in the business coupled with working with all teams including sales, compliance, finance and training officers.

Once your product and company knowledge is at a level to conduct and complete your role you will then be involved in arranging sales appointments, planning new business calls, networking and looking at new opportunities and play a vital part in presentations and proposals.

You will be working with small to medium sized companies and building up key business relationships in your Geographical area and our client will look at individuals who are based in Central Scotland, Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders.

On given your territory you will be involved in building up your brand name and product knowledge to become an expert in your field.

In time, you will inherit accounts to manage and develop and become the first point of contact for your given territory clients and business.
