Internal Sales Executive - European Road Freight
My Client is one of the market leaders for International Freight in the UK. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an Internal Sales Executive, progressing to an Account Management role in the future based on performance. The successful candidate will join their well established team in Birmingham whose main focus is on European Road Freight but they also operate both Air and Sea Freight services.
The role is initially very much a new business sales role that will develop into that of account management, as accounts are gained and developed. There is a constant requirement for new business sales calls and appointment making to ensure constant growth. You will be able to build strong relationships with clients and have excellent communication skills.
Identify and source potential customers
Gain new business via telesales and appointment making
Visit potential customers to gain new business
Manage and develop gained business on a day to day basis
Maximise profit at all times through effective account managing
To be successful you must be driven, enthusiastic, self motivated, hard working and money motivated
£19,000 Basic rising to £50,000 with incentives, plus car and commission
You MUST have 1-2 years minimum experience in either an outbound telesales or a face to face selling role - this MUST be Business to Business sales. Knowledge of the Freight market would be an advantage but not essential. Driving licence is also required.
