My client, a small, dynamic and forward thinking not for profit organisation, with lovely offices based in the heart of London seek a Director of People & Resources.

The overall purpose of this role is to ensure that the charity has the right people and resources in place to successfully deliver its strategy.

Fundamental to achieving this will be managing the overall business planning process, the management of annual budget and monitoring / reporting of overall performance.

Other duties will include;

Managing facilities and lead approach to managing risk and business continuity.

Plan an effective approach to developing staff and volunteers, in addition to this ensuring the finance, database and other related systems, are developed to support team and to deliver strategic objectives.

Manage a Finance team of 3 people, ensuring financial planning, management, and delivery of accounts / information is timely and correct. (There is a Finance Team Manager to assist with this)

Work closely with the HR Manager to ensure employee engagement, motivation, procedures and learning culture are actively encouraged and cultivated. This will also include leading learning & development strategies.

Finally, you will also manage the organisations facilities and infrastructure, leading on organizational resilience and business continuity.

The right candidate for this role will have similar experience of; managing the finances of a small / medium size organisation. Experience of leading corporate and business planning (across teams or a business as a whole), management of vital systems such as IT / comms / databases, and supporting or leading learning & development.
