The Role

They are seeking a versatile, degree qualified IT Analyst to help drive forward the Technology function within the business. The role will report to the Head of IT and work with staff at all levels.

This is not your ordinary IT role - you will be required to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into a range of tasks; everything from daily system checks, documenting and helping organise system upgrades to producing MI and carrying out Business Analysis. They are looking for flexible, ambitious people striving to be at the top of their game, who can apply their skills and add value in multiple ways.

You will be technically capable but also possess commercial acumen and relish the challenge of growing with the business as they build the IT and Analytical functions. You will have a passion for technology and a desire to expand your data skills, be self-sufficient and thrive in a fluid and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of operational IT services, management of suppliers, facilities and IT budget.
- Expand the analysis and project resource across the company.
- Act as the first point of contact for any technology related issue across the organisation.
- Provide clear and valuable input to discussions and decision making processes whenever and wherever possible at all levels in the organisation.
- Learn: skills, software, techniques and industry knowledge - this role is about pushing your envelope and growing with the business.

Skills and Experience
- Degree educated: science, technology, engineering or financial preferred.
- A passion for IT and technology in general, and a strong interest in data analysis.
- Commercial and business acumen a must.
- Strong Excel skills.
- A pragmatic "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to conceptualise and solve problems.
- Good organisational skills and able to work independently.
- Excellent Communication skills.

- Financial Services experience.
- Understanding of Databases and SQL.
- Experience in a commercial organisation.
- .NET, Python or JavaScript programming.
