Page Personnel Finance are currently assisting a client based in Southampton who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client is a well-established and consistently-growing business who have a new vacancy for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices on a daily basis, logging of BACS payments, processing daily standing orders and direct debits, dealing with external and internal queries and nominal supplier statement reconciliation, among other duties. There will also be administrative and ad hoc duties as and when they arise.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication skills and be competent with inputting data on to spreadsheets. You will be a proficient communicator and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be able to work autonomously to set deadlines and be an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.
