Account Manager - Cambridgeshire
Michelin Tyre PLC have partnered with Zachary Daniels Recruitment Group to find an Account Manager to join the business and develop Cambridgeshire on their passenger car tyres side of the company.
We are interested in speaking to people with a business-to-business sales foundation who are looking for the development and career opportunities offered by a prestigious organisation. We are open on background although knowledge of the automotive or wholesales/distribution industries will be an advantage.
You should be educated to at least A-level standard (or equivalent) with excellent communication and numeracy skills, be a team player and possess a strong customer focus. The ability to develop long-term relationships and to achieve goals is essential. You will be self-motivated, and demonstrate maturity, with a proven ability to work remotely. There will be occasions where you are expected to work on a weekend or in the evening. You will have a determination to succeed and enjoy a challenge! Whilst the key responsibility of the role is to build customer relationships and maximise commercial opportunities, there will be occasions which will require a hands on approach such as carrying out fleet audits with your customers.
If successful you will undergo a comprehensive training course in Stoke to ensure Michelin Tyre PLC's recognised professional standards are maintained and to provide you with the technical knowledge required for the role. Once appointed to your territory your responsibility will be to implement the defined commercial policy and to take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of customers.
