Our client, a leading training provider based in South Wales, established over 30 years ago to meet emerging skills gaps; have grown to become one of Wales's largest and highest performing training provider. Working pan Wales, they support over 1000 employers and 5,000+ learners every year through a range of training and employment services. They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their expanding team.

The role:

Our client is looking for a target driven self-starter to engage and build relationships with professional bodies and employers throughout Wales. Based at their head office in Cardiff you will build and manage a portfolio of employers across the South Wales region to sell the apprenticeships programme and other services.

You will be responsible for the following:

* Networking with professional bodies.
* Cold calling and business development.
* Identifying and establishing new business opportunities.
* Developing existing client relationships through account management.

The candidate:

* Proven experience of working in a target driven commercial environment.
* Experience in business relationship management, customer service and sales.
* A self-starter with a positive, resilient and tenacious attitude.
* Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
* Own car and full driving license essential.
* Knowledge of work-based learning and apprenticeships.
* Previous experience or understanding of the childcare sector.
* Welsh speaking would be advantageous.

Salary Banding: £22,000 - £25,000
