Are you an experienced sales engineer or technical sales manager with a pedigree in selling to automotiveOEM’s or automotive tier 1& 2 suppliers? If you are then read on, as we are looking to recruit a professional and technically robust sales manager / engineer to grow sales opportunities for a leading independent supplier of audio, acoustic and infotainment solutions into the automotive industry & allied tier 1&2 manufacturing sectors.
(Circa £40K - £45k) basic + performance bonus + car + benefits
Ideally: Southern UK, Hants, Southampton, Guilford, Portsmouth, Reading, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Woking, Farnham, Aldershot, Surrey, Sussex

When it comes to audio, acoustics and infotainment solutions our client is a leader in pioneering innovative, technical engineering solutions and supplying premium quality products to meet the challenging needs of global automotive OEM’s and tier 1 & 2 suppliers.
What’s the job in simple terms?
Your job is quite simply developing sales into OEM / tier 1&2 customers on an international platform, along with growing new projects with new customers. The key to the success in this role is an ability to secure new projects, therefore we are keen to source an inquisitive person, able to sniff out and secure new projects.
So what skills fit our needs?
Well you definitely need a successful track record in a customer facing capacity and presenting to automotive OEM’s or tier 1& 2 suppliers. We are exceptionally interested in speaking with individuals that have experience in selling acoustics, audio, infotainment products or wider vehicle electronics, cabling solutions or sub-assembly products. This role can be highly technical at times dealing at all levels from senior buyers through to senior engineering people, therefore we need an individual confident in dealing with all of the processes aligned with modern automotive production techniques including TS16949 production part approval PPAP and FMEA processes. If you have an engineering degree, or engineering biased qualifications, this would be extremely beneficial, along with a common sense logical approach.
Flexibility is also a key requirement as this role carries a large content of international travel to automotive plants and businesses across the globe, in particularly mainland Europe.
Of course we want the usual pc literacy, excellent organisational skills precise attention to detail, and clear communication.
