Our client is a Medium Sized Accountancy Practice located in North West London who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage their Bookkeeping department and small team. Candidates applying must have previously worked within an Accountancy Practice in either a Management Accountant or Bookkeeping position.

Duties will include:

- Managing the Bookkeeping department and supervising a small team
- Reviewing and authorising work completed by the team
- Working on a varied client portfolio ensuring client needs are met and developing and maintaining long term client relationships
- Preparation of Management Accounts including profit & loss accounts, forecasting and cash flow statements
- Providing Bookkeeping duties for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger
- Preparing quarterly and annual VAT returns, corporation tax and self-assessment tax
- Planning and completing a diverse range of assignments
- Ensuring all jobs are completed within specific time-frames and to budgets


- Minimum of 5 year's experience working within an Accountancy Practice
- Proven management and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- AAT qualified or part qualified
- Previous experience using Xero & Sage Line 50
