Payroll/ Accounts Officer - Stroud - £19,000 - £21,000

Your new company
My client a well-established manufacturing business based in Stroud is currently recruiting for a Payroll/ Accounts Officer. This is a permanent role that has developed in order to support the Financial Controller on a full time basis, working 8.30-4.30pm.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the maintenance of attendance system for all employees, the monthly payroll, and the purchase ledger. Your main duties will include; preparing the monthly payroll for all staff using Sage Payroll and updating any necessary amendments, completing monthly submissions to HMRC, posting invoices to the ledger, identifying any queries or discrepancies, reconciling supplier statements, preparing supplier payments and ad hoc duties as requested by the Financial Controller.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a payroll and accounts role. It is essential that you have the ability to work within a team environment and manage your own workload.
