Lead Designer - Ealing Broadway

We are looking to recruit a creative and versatile Lead Designer to manage our established in-house Design team within the Brand Marketing function of Kumon Europe & Africa.

The successful candidate will be the creative driving force behind the conceptualisation and design of solutions from concept through to completion. We are looking for an individual with wide-ranging experience and hands-on design skills, who can communicate and discuss concepts convincingly with senior stakeholders in addition to having the ability to manage the team and the challenges of a busy workload.

Responsibilities of the role will include designing for print and web, campaign materials, commercial signage, manuals, newsletters, brochures, event concepts and branding, presentation templates, being the brand guardian both internally and externally, managing creative photo shoots and taking the design lead on TV ad production when required.

We are looking for an innovative individual who is able to interpret briefs and provide concepts to suit their purpose. They will continuously offer their ingenuity in order to produce new ideas and freshen up current material, transferring basic designs into eye-catching creative solutions.

As well as creative and technical design ability, this role requires strong communication skills to liaise with printers, project managers, designers, agency personnel and other marketing specialists on projects.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in a similar role which they can illustrate through their portfolio, as well as being confident and competent in the use of a Mac and design programmes including Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, Adobe After Effects and Prezi.

This position is based in Ealing Broadway, West London.
